NASA Uses Taxpayer Money for SpaceX Workers to Not Smoke Cannabis

Updated: Dec 17, 2019

Soon after CEO Elon Musk smoked a joint on Joe Rogan’s podcast, NASA required SpaceX to undergo a mandatory human resources review to make sure employees of SpaceX didn’t smoke cannabis while on government contracts.

NASA footed the entire review process including paying $5 million to SpaceX for re-executing workplace safety standards and conduct random interviews with staff. Interestingly when Boeing went through a similar process - Boeing foot the bill entirely.

NASA administrators didn’t comment on the appeared favoritism occurring among space contracting companies.

As with most government contracts many are padded with extra funds every step of the way and to many on the inside - a laughable joke.
